We still have spices left to make your own dry rub We still have spices left to make your own dry rub just in time for a fourth of July barbeque! Concoct your own dry rub using one of our recipes or freestyle your own creation with the provided spices. Come make yours by tomorrow before it's gone for good.
A big thanks to Jake from the Sternberg Museum for A big thanks to Jake from the Sternberg Museum for coming to teach us about the ocean beneath our feet and what Kansas can teach us about ancient marine ecosystems like the Western Interior Seaway. We got to see fossils up close of the many creatures that called Kansas home millions and millions of years ago and learned how they lived and what they ate.
This week we sailed the seven seas and learned abo This week we sailed the seven seas and learned about pirates! We learned some pirate truths and some pirate misnomers, we sang sea shanties and helped a pirate get dressed. Our Coral Reef Readers even got to make their own underwater seascapes!
